In 2018, Herdman credited martial arts with changing his life for the better after he became a self-confessed “party animal” following his Harry Potter success.“I had enough of it so I decided I was going to get fit and I knew I needed something to focus on and martial arts did change my life,” he explained.
“It’s great looking good and the transformation is really cool. You don’t do it just for that, that’s like an added bonus. It’s more for your mental well-being.”
