it's a very simple symptom but could be a massive thing.
Andrew O'Reilly was a 'fit and healthy' dad and grandfather when he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer at only 42 years of age.
"His diagnosis started last March when he was having difficulty swallowing food and he felt things were getting stuck. "Imagine taking a big gulp of a fizzy drink and then you can't belch after it. So nothing releases there and you've that tightness in your chest. "He was just nervous and paranoid about the throat anyway, so he pursued it and kept saying 'no, I don't think it's right.'
However, tragedy struck once more when around Christmas time, Andrew began to experience chest-infection symptoms and received news that the cancer had metastasised and spread to his lungs and stomach."I personally just couldn't accept that...for somebody to just tell you those words- and he's 42." "He at least has to have the chance to fight it. You know, he does not deserve this. Nobody deserves this."
