Met Eireann have predicted that temperatures will return to the early 20 degrees mark but there is a catch as unfortunately rain and scattered showers will return along with the heat
After the glorious sunshine last week, everyone is wondering when the warm weather will make a comeback.Unfortunately, there will be rain and scattered showers across the country to accompany the heat.This weekend however, Met Eireann have said that there will be a mostly dry day full of sunshine.Thursday 16th May Sunny spells this morning, showers will develop by lunchtime turning heavy this afternoon with thunderstorms developing bringing the likelihood of spot flooding.
Friday 17th May Rain and drizzle early tomorrow, Friday, sunny spells and showers will develop later in the day. Highest temperatures 16 to 19 degrees with moderate to fresh northerly winds. Saturday 18th May Becoming mainly dry with some sunshine on Saturday. Highest temperatures 15 to 19 degrees generally, coolest in the north, in mostly moderate northerly winds.Sunday 19th May Sunny spells and isolated showers on Sunday. Highest temperatures 18 to 21 degrees in light northerly or variable breezes.
