Irish weather forecast: Heavy rain, wintry falls and more freezing temperatures on the way after Storm Freya batters Ireland
The storm which brought high winds and snowstorms at the weekend might have passed but Met Eireann have warned we'll see heavy rain, some wintry falls and freezing temperatures during the coming week.
Dublin Airport was open and operational on Monday but some airlines were experiencing delays to their flight schedules due to de-icing issues. There were huge queues at the at Ryanair check in desks as passengers tried to rebook flights with some travellers having to sleep on the airport floor.
