An insider revealed that Willoughby is also in 'no rush' to return to her hosting gig on 'Dancing on Ice'.
She has been presenting the series since 2006 but has no plans on returning just yet after a man reportedly plotted to kidnap and murder her. They said: “Everyone around her – family, friends, and her team – all agreed that a really decent break from work would do her the power of good.”
‘Dancing on Ice’ production kicks off in December meaning the host would only have a handful of weeks to recuperate after the kidnapping ordeal. “After all, work begins on the skate show in December with shoots and promo, and nobody wants to place unrealistic expectations on Holly’s shoulders and have her feel she needs to rush back, especially because nobody knows how and when the court case will proceed.”
The team was already looking for a replacement for Phillip Schofield, but will now likely need to find two new presenters to host the skating show.Willoughby confirmed she is spending time with her family after stepping down as host of ‘This Morning’ after 14 years.
