American Kate Siegel donned dark sunglasses for her trip around the city as she flew in especially for the FÍS TV summit.

Siegel shot to fame as Theodora Crain in the Netflix supernatural horror series The Haunting of Hill House, but also co-wrote ‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ and ‘Gerald's Game’.The FÍS TV Summit brings creatives from all sectors of the TV industry together to listen, learn and connect with each other at An Taibhdhearc’s beautiful theatre.

An Taibhdhearc is Galway’s National Irish language theatre and is one of the city’s gems and it doesn't matter if you're fluent or not. A few months ago we reviewed a show there and said that your level of Irish doesn’t matter at Taibhdhearc as the staff’s smiles will always be just as bright and wide whether you replied as Gaeilge na as Bearla.

All the events hosted there - and too often underestimated - are not just for the fluent speakers keeping the language alive but it's also for the try-hards, the beginners, and the learners. If you want to know more about Galway’s National Irish language theatre you can visit their website here.
