On Monday morning, Christy gave what he believes may be his final ever interview on the Late Late Show host's RTE Radio 1 show
Listeners were in tears this week after a “heartbreaking” interview between Aslan frontman Christy Dignam and RTÉ presenter Ryan Tubridy on his radio show.
During the interview, Ryan visited Christy in his home where the pair chatted about Aslan, life, love and death. Throughout the interview, Christy stated that there were times when he was overcome with feelings of fear, as "nobody wants to die". "And that 10 years are up now and you're kind of saying, 'I know I only asked for 10 but you couldn’t throw another 10 in there could you?"Turning spiritual, the Dublin singer added: "I believe we are all spiritual beings in some sense or other. I remember there used to be an old saying… that 'religion is for people who want to go to heaven, spirituality is for people who have been to hell.
