RTE has released its weekend ratings and they don't make for pleasant reading for some high-profile shows
Hundreds of thousands of viewers have turned off Doireann Garrihy , Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan’s hidden camera show since its debut, the Irish Mirror can reveal.
But figures from RTÉ revealed that as many as 169,000 viewers tuned into the show on Sunday night – a 175,000 drop since the series began.A spokesman for RTÉ said: “Sunday night's episode of The Full Irish Hidden Camera Show had an average audience of 169,000 viewers on RTÉ One and RTÉ One + 1. Elsewhere, the second last episode of this season of the Late Late Show saw an average audience of 418,000 people tuning in – an increase of 32,000 extra viewers compared to the previous week.
And Brendan Courtney’s Keys To My Life episode was watched by an average of 211,000 viewers across RTÉ One and RTÉ One + 1 – a drop of 54,000 viewers.
