Hutch, 61, could be seen laughing and smiling amongst the crowds gathered near Kellie’s home at Portland Row in a celebration organised by Dublin City Council. He was previously seen at an event in Diamond Park for Harrington’s semi-final bout against Brazilian, Beatriz Ferreira, when a large screen was set up for the local community.
Hutch, who was acquitted of the 2016 murder of Kinahan cartel associate David Byrne at the Regency Airport Hotel in Dublin last year, has a long criminal history, having accumulated 30 convictions by the time he was 20. His nephew Gary Hutch was shot dead in Spain after falling out with the Kinahan cartel, which was the first killing in a long-running feud between the two crime families.
