About eight years ago Geri and her construction worker husband Cathal Glynn made the existing cottage “liveable” and spent years saving and dreaming of what would one day be their forever home
When interior designer Geri O’Toole of Geri Designs purchased a derelict two-bedroom 18th century cottage in her native Limerick, she knew she had a long road ahead before the cottage would reach its full potential. “We found this home years ago, the location was perfect but we didn’t have the funds to get in straightaway”. .
" everything we wished for it to be. It’s light, it’s bright, it’s airy and comfortable. We don’t know ourselves with all the extra space. That’s what we really needed. We knew when we moved into the cottage we needed more space. We had absolutely no storage and we had one child, then we were having a second and as any parent knows, they have a lot of stuff.
