Ireland’s Fittest Family is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited.New presenter Laura Fox is on the hunt to find the nation’s Fittest Family.
But she’s not the only fresh face on the show as legendary athlete Sonia O’Sullivan will be joining Nina Carberry, Davy Fitzgerald and Donncha O’Callaghan to push the families to their limits and over the finish line for the coveted title.Well, luckily we won’t have to wait too long to settle down with Ireland’s Fittest Family as it is coming back to our screens on the 29th of October!
Donncha’s Bonnar family from Waterford, Davy’s Heaney family from Tyrone, Nina’s O’Regan family from Kerry, and Sonia’s Noonan family from Meath take on The Lake, all battling it out for two places in the next round of the competition at the brand new location of The Farm.
The four families then have their stamina tested by High and Dry, which has been given a new lease of life for season 11. Two members of each family must take to the skies and hang on to two gymnastic rings, suspended from a crane high above the icy waters of The Lake, while the other two run shuttles across slippery pontoons floating on the water. The most runs completed wins.
