Someone in Ireland is €43,720 richer after matching five numbers and the bonus in Saturday's Lotto draw. The National Lottery is urging all players to check their tickets as the winner is yet to come forward.
Remarkably, this is the shop's second recent high-tier win, after selling a winning match five EuroMillions ticket on November 5. A shopper won €20,949 - but has yet to come forward. A special appeal has been issued for this player to claim their prize before the deadline of February 3.
Spokesperson for the National Lottery Emma Monaghan said: 'It’s a weekend to remember for one of our Lotto players - a fantastic start to their year! There was no winner of last night’s Lotto jackpot, but in total, over 77,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including our one winner of the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €43,720. “We are still hoping to hear from the EuroMillions player who purchased their winning ticket at Tuthills Swords on Tuesday, 5th November. This player has won €20,949 by matching five numbers. As ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, the last date to claim is Monday, 3rd February. We encourage all players who purchased their ticket at Tuthills to check their old tickets very carefully.” Both of these winners can contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to arrange the collection of their prize
