Ireland storm tracker as Hurricane Martin hurdles at us and Met Eireann give unusual weather warning
Hurricane Martin is hurtling towards Ireland, with its remnants set to impact our weather over the coming days.It’s already in place and lasts until next Friday, November 11 at 11pm.
Tropical Storm Martin formed in the central North Atlantic on Tuesday, becoming the 13th named storm of the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season. On Wednesday, it became the seventh hurricane of the season and transitioned into a powerful post-tropical cyclone on Thursday afternoon. He said: "Hurricane Martin in the Atlantic is forecast to head Northeast towards Greenland and weaken but then turn East with the remnants possible passing close to the North of Ireland on Sunday.
