Met Eireann has just released its forecast for the coming weekend and it looks to be a mixed back of rain and warm temperatures of up to 16 degrees.

Friday 7th March Mostly cloudy or dull tomorrow morning with some mist and fog and with some patchy drizzle in the east and south. Showery rain will move into southern areas through the morning, spreading northwards through the afternoon and evening, with some heavier bursts at times. Some mist and fog will linger throughout the day in some parts, especially in coastal parts of the south and east.

Saturday: Wet and breezy starting out. However, the band of rain will clear away northwestwards. Dry for a time into the afternoon, outside of the odd heavy showers. Once again though, another band of rain will arrive into southern areas later in the evening. Very mild for the time of year with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, best in the West. East to southeast winds will be mostly moderate in strength.
