One lucky Irish EuroMillions player has won a life-changing €500,000 jackpot prize in Tuesday night's draw. The winning ticket was purchased in Drogheda, Co Louth, and Lotto bosses are urging all players in the area to check their tickets. The National Lottery has confirmed that over 29,000 players in Ireland won prizes in last night's draw, including the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus winner and ten players who each won €5,000 in the Ireland-only raffle.

Irish EuroMillions players are being urged to check their tickets after one lucky winner bagged a life-changing €500,000 prize in Tuesday night's draw. The National Lottery has revealed that the lucky Lotto winner purchased their ticket on Friday, 24th January, from Centra, The Mell, Drogheda in Co Louth.

Lotto bosses are now urging all players in the Drogheda area to check their tickets carefully and if you're holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to arrange the collection of your prize. In total, over 29,000 players in Ireland won prizes in last night's games, including the €500,000 jackpot winner. Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate this significant win for a Louth player. While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot worth €17,000,000, in total, over 29,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including our EuroMillions Plus jackpot prize. This fantastic prize is a wonderful reminder that exciting moments can happen when you least expect them.”The Louth winner wasn't the only Irish player to bag a huge payout in last night's EuroMillions draw, as ten punters won €5,000 each in the Ireland only raffle. The winning Ireland only raffle numbers are: 4, 8, 12, 19, 28. Meanwhile there was no winners of Tuesday's mega EuroMillions jackpot, which could have seen one lucky punter become €17,000,000 richer. The numbers called in the main EuroMillions draw on Tuesday were: 9, 37, 41, 42, 49 and the lucky stars were 1 and 9
