The Donegal singer has been announced as the third hopeful for Ireland's Eurovision entry
Eurovision hopeful Adgy’s entry was written by a world-famous producer who has previously won the iconic competition. The Donegal singer is announced as the fourth artist to be in the running to fly the flag for Ireland at the 2025 contest.
His entry, Run into the Night, was written and produced by Ivan Klymenko. The music producer is no stranger to what does well at the Eurovision Song Contest. This programme will determine which lucky act will represent Ireland at the iconic competition in Basal, Switzerland in May. RTÉ 1’s The Ray D’Arcy Show will play Adgy's entry for the first time at 3pm today, and he will also be in the studio to chat about the track.
Adgy is determined to win this year as he’s back with a “fresh sound” after his entry with Too Good For Your Love was unsuccessful in 2024. Since his stint on The Late Late Eurosong last year, the musician spent the past year writing songs at his London base.
