The Irish Exporters Association has named Colin Dunne as its president for 2023

Mr Dunne is the joint managing Director of global logistics company International Warehousing & Transport .

He has been a member of the IEA's National Council since 2014 and after being at the forefront of the challenges faced by Irish exporters and importers for many years, he brings substantial experience to the IEA Presidency. Mr Dunne said he looks forward to using his new role as President to support the IEA's ongoing engagement with Government and leading stakeholders to emphasise the role Irish exporters must play in promoting Ireland abroad.

"While the global economy will continue to face challenges, it is important that we do not lose focus in meeting the long-term strategic issues we face as an association, particularly in promoting more sustainable practices in international trade," he added. Irish Exporters Association chief executive Simon McKeever said that Colin is a recognised leader in his field and his experience and insights will no doubt support the efforts of the IEA over the coming year.
