The acclaimed electronic artist, who had been performing under the name Talos since 2013, passed away in his native Cork on Sunday morning
Irish musician and songwriter Eoin French, known as the voice and creative force behind Talos, has died at the age of 37.
"Eoin passed peacefully in his sleep early on the morning of Sunday August 11 2024 in his native Cork, surrounded by his loved ones. French spent three years working on Talos's debut album Wild Alee, which was released in 2017 features electronic and post-rock influences. The LP earned rave reviews from critics and was hailed by the Irish Times as “a spectacularly assured debut”.
The musician frequently played shows across the UK and Europe and was partially based in Iceland. He also performed in supports slots for acts including Bell X1, Bon Iver and Dermot Kennedy.
