A lucky EuroMillions player from Dublin, Ireland has won €500,000 in Friday's draw. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Spar, Cabra Road, Cabra, Dublin 7.
The winning ticket, which was sold in Dublin , scooped the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
Darragh O’Dwyer, spokesperson for the National Lottery, encouraged the lucky player to contact Lottery HQ to claim their life-altering prize. "In total over 46,000 players in Ireland won prizes in last night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws. We’re now urging all players who bought their EuroMillions Plus tickets from Spar, New Cabra Road, Cabra, Dublin 7 on Friday, to carefully check their tickets – you could be sitting on a fortune of €500,000 and not even know it yet!"

182kg of Cocaine and 4kg of Cannabis Seized in Mountmellick Drug BustA major drug bust in Mountmellick, Co Laois, saw Gardaí seize 182kg of cocaine and 4kg of cannabis, with an estimated street value of €14 million. The drugs were found along with eight modified vehicles containing hidden compartments, used to distribute the drugs in West Dublin. The operation, led by the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT), also uncovered a stash of 17kg of cocaine and €25,000 in cash in West Dublin.
