Meanwhile, across the Irish Sea, a Lotto winner in the UK finally came forward to claim their EuroMillions prize of £83.4 million (€100 million) nearly two weeks after the draw. The lucky ticket holder matched all five main numbers - 02, 11, 19, 30, and 49 - as well as the two Lucky Star numbers, 03 and 08, in the EuroMillions draw on January 24, securing the life-changing jackpot of £83,474,081.80 (€100.1 million). This impressive win ranks as the 23rd “most spectacular” win in EuroMillions history, according to lottery bosses. According to Allwyn, the UK National Lottery operator, the EuroMillions winner held onto their ticket for 13 days before registering their claim. Allwyn previously stated that it was 'very unusual' for such a large prize to remain unclaimed for an extended period, adding that it was the 'biggest prize to have gone unclaimed at this stage'.
