Craig, 52, previously filled in several weeks ago. Viewers praised the host for his relaxed presenting skills and his charming wit alongside Alison Hammond. Holly, 42, has returned to present the show following the exit of Phillip Schofield after he quit ITV altogether after revealing he’d had an affair with a younger colleague.
Following his departure, his co-star of 14 years Holly took a two-week break, returning on Monday for the first time without Phil. During both Phil and Holly’s absences, Alison, 48, and Dermot O’Leary took the reins.Craig also stepped up, replacing Dermot as he took some time off to celebrate turning 50 with friends and family.He has hosted a huge array of shows on RTE, as well as his other work commitments with channels including BBC, ITV, and BT Sport.
