The winning ticket, sold in Drogheda, Co Louth, matched all six numbers and the bonus. They have also shared details of the shop that sold the golden ticket, which is based on Drogehda, Co Louth. The town is already familiar with major wins, including a Lotto jackpot prize of €3,523,021 on Valentine's Day last year. Shop owner William Daly has shared his excitement at having sold a winning ticket for the first ever time, and said he hopes it was a regular customer who struck gold.
