Coronation Street fans are convinced one resident will expose Kit Green as a bent copper, after he forced Beth Tinker to leave the cobbles
Coronation Street enthusiasts believe they've figured out who will be the downfall of corrupt police officer Kit Green. Jacob Roberts, who portrays the crooked cop, made his debut on the cobbles this year as Bernie's long-lost child. Bernie, a soap favourite, gave up Christopher 'Kit' Green for adoption nearly three decades ago. A few months back, she finally managed to locate him. Meanwhile, Bernie's twins Gemma and Paul were shocked to discover they had another sibling.
However, when Beth's son Craig admitted to Kit about the cover-up of Faye Windass and Emma Brooker's hit and run incident in 2021, Kit used this information to his advantage. Later, Beth confided in Daniel Osbourne - who has already expressed his worries about Kit - and Kit saw them together. Kit took things to the next level by threatening Beth to leave Weatherfield, warning her he'd spill the beans about Craig's cover-up to the police.
