The RTÉ star made the decision to sign off after going through an extremely hectic time both professionally and personally over the last couple of weeks.
She also revealed that Dancing with the Stars finalist Laura Fox will be in the hot seat during her time away from the daily slot. "The last couple of weeks have been extremely hectic professionally and personally so taking a little extended time off my radio show on @rte2fm to be with the family."Jennifer has never taken an extended break away from her work duties in the past. Laura Fox will sit in for her on 2fm until she returns to air."Looking forward to being available for the family and listening in to the little rocket that is @foxylaura10 who will be keeping my seat warm.
The show airs from 9am to 12pm from Monday to Friday. She also fronts Dancing with the Stars, which had a glittering 11 week run on RTÉ between January and March.
