The city of Johannesburg, which undercollected more than R1bn in revenue during the national lockdown, will resume cutting water and electricity for consumers that do not pay their bills or make arrangements to clear their arrears.
The city had dropped these measures due to the economic devastation caused by the lockdown, which was imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
