JOE’s Song Of The Day #736 – State Lights ‘Lonely’
Bonded by their common desire to write giant stadium-sized songs and a shared interest in classic pop music, State Lights formed three years ago at BIMM College in Dublin.
Members include singer Shobsy, guitarist Joe Regan, drummer Paul Ridgeway and bassist Noel Perry. We are no'Lonely' is a classic pop track with brilliant lead vocals and an infectious melody that will live in your head for days. Echoes of Tom Chaplin from Keane are hard to get away from here. It's a song made for radio and you can expect to hear plenty of it on that medium in the foreseeable future.
After a storming performance at Electric Picnic State Lights announced a headline gig at the Workman’s Club for Friday, 1 March 2019.
