The Antrim native has enjoyed his best run in a ranking event since winning the Welsh Open in 2021.
Jordan Brown's excellent run at the International Championship has been ended by England's Tom Ford at the semi-final stage.
Brown had enjoyed wins over multiple ranking event winners Kyren Wilson, John Higgins and Stephen Maguire to achieve his best result in a ranking event since he shocked the snooker world by beating Ronnie O'Sullivan to win the Welsh Open in 2021. But his run came to an end as he was beaten 9-6 by Tom Ford who only took the lead in the match after firing in back to back centuries mid-way through the evening session. A third tonne break followed shortly after and he rounded things off with a 57 to seal the victory.Ford, who will appear in his third ranking final, is still searching for a maiden ranking victory. He will face either Ronnie O'Sullivan or Zhang Anda in the final on Sunday.
