The Prince and Princess of Wales set up camp in Hereford's Forest School today as they happily spent time with primary school children to learn more about woodland environment

Royals William and Kate gathered round the campfire on Thursday to help primary school children prepare food and learn about the environment.

Will and Kate made sure to listen intently and got to know the youngsters, while the group learned about key issues like environmental awareness, conservation and woodland management. William, however, got his hands dirty when he accidentally knocked a branch off the den while inspecting it, before quickly trying to put it back in its place.

The Duchy supplied the school with a woodland site at Brampton Hill Wood and, over the years, the woodland area has increased as well as the onsite facilities.
