Former Cheltenham Festival jockey Katie Walsh has spoken exclusively to the Irish Mirror and picked out an Irish-trained four-fold with a selection from each day

Katie Walsh has picked out an 13/1 Cheltenham Festival four-fold featuring one Irish-trained horse from each day of the meeting.

On day one in Gloucestershire, Walsh has plenty of options to choose from, with Kopek Des Bordes in the Michael O'Sullivan Supreme Novices' Hurdle, Brighterdaysahead in the Champion Hurdle and Lossiemouth in the Mares' Hurdle among the favoured Irish runners. On day two, Walsh heads to the Champion Bumper for her second leg of her four-part accumulator. The Bumper always attracts a strong field but it's a race that Mullins has made his own in recent years, having saddled the winner in four of the last five renewals and a remarkable 13 times overall.

Onto day three and there are ample Irish chances in the Ryanair Mares' Novices' Hurdle, including Sixandahalf for Gavin Cromwell and Maughreen for Mullins, plus the likes of Fact To File and Gaelic Warrior in the Ryanair Chase. But Walsh is targeting the Stayers' Hurdle for the third leg of her Irish accumulator.
