TV chef Kevin Dundon is hoping to be saved from Dancing with the Star’s first dance-off as the competition heats up for Eurovision week.
Yes tonight, the pressure is well and truly on for all nine couples as the two with the lowest combined points from the judges and public will go head to head in the first dance-off of the season.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s show, Kevin shared that he wasn’t too worried about being voted off as he feels that the public needs people they can relate to. “This is an entertainment show, yes, it is a dancing show, but it is an entertainment show,” the chef began.Pic: Kyran O’Brien/kobpix “People like Jack and Rhys are good dancers, but you also need people like me who are there to entertain the public – people that they can relate to, that they feel dance like them at a wedding or a friend’s party in the local pub.While the threat of the dance-off looms, Kevin remains positive, noting: “It’s a dance-off if I get into the dance-off.
“So, what I am hoping for is that the public is going to keep me out of the dance-off. That is my target for this week.”This week, Kevin will perform a Waltz to the 2017 Eurovision-winning Portuguese balladHe also couldn’t be more excited about tonight’s Eurovision theme, adding how he and his family were big fans of the Song Contest when he was growing up.
