Nathan McDonnell is set to undergo surgery to a broken jaw today
Kinahan cartel hitman Glen Thompson has been moved and sanctioned behind bars after a ‘brutal’ punch attack on shamed businessman Nathan McDonnell.
Asked for comment on Mr O’Connell’s claim that McDonnell was not protected, a spokesperson for the Irish Prison Service said: “The Irish Prison Service does not comment on individual prisoner cases, or on security or operational matters.” Gardai have yet to confirm an investigation into the incident.
