Sr Cecelia Keating, aged 83, known as Sr Claire was killed in the collision at Kilbana in Clare on Tuesday afternoon.
Tributes are pouring in for a 'kind' nun who died after the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a JCB.
Sr Keating was a native of Cross village in Clare, but resided in Castletroy in Co Limerick where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Order.Several organisations that have paid tribute include the Clare County GAA board saying: ''Deepest condolences to the Keating family on your sad loss. Leaba I measc na Naomh'
While a second added: “Sincere condolences to the Keating family on the untimely passing of Sr. Claire. Rest In Peace.”Her remains will repose in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Cross, from 6pm to 8pm on Friday.
