King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla have delighted crowds crowds outside Buckingham Palace.
Extra police have been put on to cope with the increased demand.
He is due to meet with representatives from the Commonwealth this afternoon as part of his duties as new monarch. Camilla, who also smiled and waved towards crowds, was dressed in a black dress with a gold necklace.
