Ashley Guild says she is facing a 'brick wall' after trying to get help for her six-year-old son who is unable to keep food down and is dramatically losing weight.
A Lanarkshire mum has accused doctors of 'waiting until something bad happens' to help her son who has dropped to just two stone in weight.
The youngster is now fed through a tube and attends a school for additional needs. In June this year, mum Ashley was forced to take him back in for a colonoscopy where he was found to have three blockages that meant the procedure couldn't go ahead. "He's so lethargic, he can sometimes become unresponsive. The school has phoned me to come to get him because he can't lift his head off the table. They're also really worried about his condition and have been close to taking him to hospital themselves.
