One lucky Lanarkshire shopper scooped up £637.54 worth of Aldi favourites during a supermarket sweep - while also raising £1275.08 for a local foodbank of his choice.

A lucky Lanarkshire shopper has scooped hundreds of pounds worth of goodies during a supermarket sweep.

Shopper Nicola Alexander was chosen as the winner of the competition and nominated her husband Christopher to take part in the five-minute trolley dash for charity on Thursday 30th May.
