Laura Fox is one of the biggest names in RTE these days, with a hit show on 2fm each weekday and a prime time TV slot as host of Ireland’s Fittest Family.
When asked if Laura had studied broadcast journalism in college, she explained “Absolutely not”. “College wasn’t for me. It just wasn’t something that was in my path at all. “Back then, there wasn’t an option to find someone on LinkedIn or Instagram, you either knew someone in the industry or you didn’t. And I didn’t. After that I took the plunge to move to Dublin and enrolled in a part-time course in journalism, because I felt I needed a reason to get me up there.
