“This time around it was the most I have ever had to lose. I had gained 50 pounds. I had gotten to the point where I was in the largest clothes I ever owned and it really did make me resent what I saw in the mirror”.
Lauren Egerton lost an incredible four stone in just seven months after years of yo-yo dieting and unhealthy habits.
“I personally felt huge pressure to look a certain way. I was a yo-yo dieter which then led to bingeing. I had a toxic relationship with food. I believed the less I ate, the more weight I would lose and that was so far from the truth. I had no real knowledge about the importance of a good diet. “One day I just had enough, I felt full, bloated, moody and I had zero energy. That was the day I started which was March 2023”.
“The main thing I did was sit down and actually ask myself ‘what do you like to eat?’ I’m a comfort eater so everything that I envisioned as comfort food I wrote that down. For example big pasta dishes, Lasagnes, sweet pancake dishes etc. so I then started looking up healthier versions of those meals and started cooking my dinners from scratch so I knew exactly how healthy those meals were. Everything was made with simple and good ingredients.
