Legend of lunches Potts Pies is up for sale after serving Lancaster's hungry since 1973
For decades, Potts Pies has been a Lancaster staple, serving hungry customers some of the freshest pies.

As well as pies, Potts also serve sandwiches, sausage rolls, breakfast buns, paninis and hot and cold drinks.READ MORE: Being sold by Yes Move, Lancaster, it is on the market for £54,000. Current owner, Donna Crossley has worked at the store for more than 30 years and decided to take over the running of it in 2016.
In order to keep her shelves stocked with pies, Donna starts work in the Lancaster bakery at 6.30am and remains there for eight hours, two days a week. The rest of the time she is in the shop, which closes only on a Sunday. The 51-year-old has gone full circle, starting at age 22 in the downstairs bakery, before moving into shop work, management and later back to the nitty gritty of making the pies. But now, it seems Donna is set to pass the reins to someone else.For more details about this property, click here.
