Ross Byrne has revealed his delight at signing for Gloucester for next season in a move that ends his long association with Leinster.
However he has found himself down the pecking order this season, with Sam Prendergast getting the nod to start in the Champions Cup pool stages, while Ciarán Frawley and Ross' brother Harry - when he returns from a successful three month spell at Bristol Bears - are also competing for game time. “I’m delighted to have signed with Gloucester Rugby for next season,” Byrne said. “The club’s exciting ambitions made it an opportunity I just couldn’t pass up.
