Could this mean...?👀
In an unexpected show of support for his ex-bandmate, Liam Payne has commented on a video of Zayn Malik’s new single.
The One Direction singer surprised fans by commenting on Zayn’s Instagram, where the latter has been teasing new music over the last week.Liam wrote, “this sounds big already” and a clapping emoji. Fans unsurprisingly lost the plot immediately, with the comment almost instantly reaching over 100,000 likes
If that wasn’t enough to send people into a tailspin, Zayn reciprocated the moment, responding “Appreciate it bro, thanks for the love.”View this post on InstagramWhile another said “the world is healing”. Someone else pointed out that despite the affection in the comment, Zayn still doesn’t follow Liam back on Instagram. “but come on.. follow him back for next step bro”. Awkward!
The moment comes following rumours that One Direction may reunite for a show, as Liam said in an interview that the five are back in a group chat together. Last April, Harry Styles also said “never say never” when James Corden asked if the group would ever reunite.
