Lidl shopper struggling with bills overwhelmed after random act of kindness from stranger
A man whose card was declined over insufficient funds in Lidl was left "overwhelmed" with gratitude after a stranger intervened.One such person grappling with this is Jordan Baker, who went into Lidl last Thursday to pick up some essentials.
The Yorkshire man picked up some items in the Hayley Hill store but was left red-faced when his card was declined.Jordan added that he has autism and in such situations, he can become highly overwhelmed. "I also had my friend's card with me, but I forgot the pin. I then went to call my partner to ask him for the pin again, but that's when a nice gentleman behind offered to pay for the shopping for me. I did politely decline, but he was insistent.
