One lucky player from Waterford has won €73,741 in Saturday night's Lotto draw. The National Lottery urges all players in the area to check their tickets.
Lotto players are urged to check their tickets after one lucky punter bagged a life-changing prize in Saturday night's draw. While there was no winner of last night’s Lotto jackpot worth over €2.3 million, in total, over 67,000 players won prizes in last night's Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including one player who matched five numbers plus the bonus number to win the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €73,741.
The winning numbers in Saturday’s (January 4) Lotto draw were: 5, 10, 13, 36, 37, 46 and the Bonus was 39. The National Lottery has revealed that the Lotto winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Centra, Saint Lawrence Terrace, Lower Grange, Waterford. Lotto bosses are now urging all players in the Waterford city area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to arrange the collection of your prize. National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “Last night’s Lotto draw brought fantastic news for one of our players in Waterford, who scooped an incredible €73,741 prize! We’re encouraging all our players to check their tickets today to see if they’re our latest big winner.” There were also 73 winners of the Raffle Prize in Saturday night's draw, with each player receiving €500. The winning raffle number was 1433. If you hold a winning Lotto ticket that you bought in a shop, you must claim your prize within 90 days of the applicable draw date
