The chocolate bar could be unsafe to eat

M&S shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards for a chocolate bar that has been pulled from shelves as it may be unsafe to eat.

M&S has confirmed that only the displayed date code is affected and that no other batches of the chocolate bar seem to have been impacted by the recall. The FSA posted: "Marks & Spencer is recalling M&S Belgian Dark Chocolate Bar because some packs contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents."

Shoppers who do have an allergy or intolerance to milk are being urged not to consume the product and to return it stores immediately for a full refund.
