The alarm was raised shortly before 4.30pm on Wednesday
, January 25 when officers were called to a property on Merse Way in the village of Kippford, which is located three miles from the town of Dalbeattie.
It was there that cops discovered the two individuals, who were pronounced dead at the scene. The deaths are being treated as 'unexplained' and an investigation is now underway to piece together exactly what happened.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Wednesday, 25 January, police were called to an address in Merse Way, Kippford, near Dalbeattie.“The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
