A man in his 20s has been charged with assault following an attack outside a pub in west Dublin on Sunday night. The victim, in his 40s, sustained life-threatening injuries from what authorities believe was a single punch. He remains in critical condition in a Dublin hospital.
A man, aged in his 20s, arrested in connection with an alleged assault of another man outside a public house in west Dublin late on Sunday night has been charged.
He is due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.The man sustained life-threatening injuries in what gardaí believe was a so-called one-punch attack.
