A man in his 40s has died in a two-vehicle collision in Co Limerick
The driver of the car was taken to University Hospital Limerick, where he was later pronounced dead.The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses, particularly any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling on the N69 in the Mungret area between 9am and 9.45am, to contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061 212400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
