A man, who was jogging on a greenway, has been brought to hospital after he was attacked by a dog on the restricted breed list in County Donegal over the weekend
The man was jogging on the greenway between the villages of Muff and Quigley's Point on the Inishowen Peninsula in the north of the county when the incident occurred around midday.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was brought to Altnagelvin Hospital in County Derry where he received emergency treatment. A garda spokesperson stated: “Gardaí in Muff were alerted to a report of a man who was bitten by a dog that occurred on the morning of Sunday 16 June 2024 in Muff.
