Gardai investigating 'slash hook attack' after man injured in Mallow, Co Cork

The man, 32, suffered cut wounds to his face and hands after the incident at 3am on Sunday.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí in Mallow are investigating an assault on man, 32, during an overnight incident at Connolly Avenue, Mallow. "It's understood he sustained cuts to his hands and face. No arrests have been made to date an enquires are ongoing."
