A man was hospitalized after being attacked by a dog in north Dublin on Sunday morning. The dog was later destroyed, and Gardaí are investigating the incident.

A man suffered a "number of injuries" after he was attacked by a dog in north Dublin over the weekend.

Gardai and emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. A woman in her 50s suffered serious injuries when she was attacked by two English bulldogs owned by a close relative. The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in south Dublin.
