Court papers state Hunter behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer or alarm.
It is claimed Hunter, while in possession of a hammer, acted in an aggressive manner towards Andrew Mains, then 75, and Sandra Mains, then 74.A trial will take place at Glasgow Sheriff Court next month.
